Preparation Directions:
To start this recipe, add the extract syrup to three gallons of water, and bring it all to a boil. Once boiling, pour in the crystal malt, and boil for 10 full minutes. Then add the hops, and boil again for 5 more minutes. Shut off the heat all together now, and add in the chocolate and black patent malts in grain packet. Steep for 10 full minutes, the sparge the grain packet with 2 gallons of hot boiling water. From here add the lactose. Now pitch your yeast, and let it ferment. When bottling your fine brew, prime it with the malt extract. It may take you a few tries to get this delicate brew down to a science, but once you hit the mark, you will know it. The taste of this brew perfected will knock your socks off.
