Preparation Directions:
For the very first step in this delicious recipe, cut your prepitted cherries into nice neat little quarters, and macerate them in the Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock for four full hours. Next using a double boiler, melt the baking chocolate, cherry syrup, and semisweet chocolate chips. Stir the melting contents thoroughly over low to medium heat. Moving along, pour in your white sugar, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, again stirring rapidly to keep it consistent. Once it's well mixed, remove the pot from the stove. In a small separate mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks. Do temper the egg yolks with a smidgen of the melted chocolate, then add it all to the chocolate in a double boiler, again stirring thoroughly so that the eggs do not get a chance to set. Return to the burner, and bring it to a low rolling boiling. Take it off the heat again, stirring it under the contents cool off. Next, drain the cut and quartered cherries, then pour in your Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock to the chocolate mixture, and stir rapidly to combine. You will now want to whip up the cream with a mixing spoon or whisk, adding in your powdered sugar, aiming for a semi hardened valley of peaks. Very gently fold the now cool chocolate mixture into the whipped cream, and then again fold in your cut and quartered dark sweet Morello cherries. Pour the mixture into a buttered Tupperware bowl, cover it tightly with a lid, and then place into the freezer for eight hours, or overnight. Remove from the freezer about 12 minutes before serving it, slice it into small bite size pieces and place in a serving bowl. Add a generous amount of canned whipped cream, after gently placing a Maraschino cherry on each piece. Grate the bar of Hershey's extra dark chocolate over them.
