Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout

Well folks, this may very well be the best chocolate beer on the market. Holy cow, great stuff. So, I ordered six bottles of this fine heavenly brew over the internet, after reading so many good things about it. The bottle itself is a fine piece of work, in my opinion it just had this premium feel, though maybe the taste biased me. Anyways, I pulled out my favorite pint glass, cracked off the bottle cap, and let it rip. The beer's body is dark black almost like Guinness, with hues of brown shining through my glass. The head on the brew was top notch, about a finger thick, and it lasted a couple of minutes. The lacing was there as well, and so to this point everything was perfect. Now for the aroma check, I brought the brew to my nose, and took it in. I detected lots of chocolate malt, some fruity sweetness, hops, and maybe even some of my Mom's German chocolate cake in there. My mouth started to water as I prepared for the first pull, I let the thick silky chocolate stout mixture fill my mouth, what an incredible taste. First chocolate, then and undertone of fruit dipped in dark chocolate mixed with caramel, it about knocked me out of my chair. The alcohol content is sharp at 10%+, but it goes down smooth. A few of these fine works of art, and you may just pick up a nice chocolate beer buzz. I highly recommend this chocolate beer to anyone and everyone who reads this, do whatever you can to try this beer out at least once, it's well worth it. To the fine men and women at the Brooklyn Brewery, job well done! Excellent chocolate beer, and in my opinion the best you can get.
