Preparation Directions:
To begin this recipe, take out a large mixing bowl. Next sift in your all purpose flour, brown sugar, cornstarch, baking powder, cinnamon, and sale. Once finished, set the bowl aside for now. Now in another mixing bowl, peel your bananas, and smash them up to a soft textured consistency, you may use a fork to do so. Your goal is to get a total of one full cup of this banana mixture. Next, in another separate mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, chocolate beer, and lemon juice. Once finished, you will need to pour this over the top of the banana mixture, stir thoroughly. As we go further, you can now add the banana chocolate beer mixture to the dry flour ingredients that were previously mixed together, use a mixing spoon to thoroughly combine all of the ingredients. Once mixed, set the mixture aside. For the cooking part portion, you will not preheat your oven to 330 degrees Fahrenheit. Heat your vegetable oil in a deep fryer, or large tall cooking pot. For the deep fryer, you will want to attain a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a #50 ice cream scooper, you can begin portioning the batter. Place about 6 scoops of batter into the boiling hot vegetable oil, and leave them there until golden brown, with should only take about three minutes. Using tongs, remove the fritters from the hot oil and transfer them on to a baking sheet lined with paper towels, where excess oil will run off to. Keep repeating this process until all of the batter is used, then place all your fritters in the preheated oven for 10 - 12 minutes. Use a toothpick to tell if they are done, if it comes out clean, then turn off the oven, and remove them. Dust your fritters with sugar, and serve them up hot, with a tall glass of cold milk. As a side option, can whip up some dipping sauce for these fritters, like chocolate dipping, vanilla dipping, and various other sauces. Do enjoy this wonderful recipe.
